Wastepunk | Substance Painter Hero Asset

Wastepunk is now the splash screen of Substance 3D Painter for 2026 !
This post is the same as the original one, but for this version, I redesigned a few elements. The gun was replaced with an antenna, and several clothes and accessories were updated. It's fun to compare it with the original design, and personally I think this one looks even better!
I also had the chance to present the texturing process during Substance Days at GDC.
I still can't believe it. I'll update this post with the GDC demo when the recording will be posted online.
I'm so grateful to the Substance team for the opportunity and making my dreams come true <3 I hope you'll like this version!
